On July 16th, Jordan was a guest speaker, along with missionary Kathy Dickriede, at a luncheon for P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization). She was thrilled to be invited to speak and loved telling the group of women about her fundraising efforts. Many of the members of P.E.O. gave Jordan donations for greeting cards, raising almost $200 toward the well.

Jordan loves to listen to 95.5 The Fish radio station in northeast Ohio. The family regularly calls in to play on air games during their drive to school in the morning. When Jordan called in on Friday, March 27th, the DJ, Len Howser, asked her what was going on that day. She replied that she and her mom were hosting a fundraiser for the well in Liberia by selling purses and greeting cards. Jordan told him (and everyone listening) about her website and her goal. She was delighted when she came home from school that day and saw people had heard her and went to her website to order cards! As a side note, she won the contest that morning, winning tickets to an indoor amusement park and an indoor putt-putt facility. However, we think the biggest winners are the people in Liberia who will soon be receiving a new well for fresh water!
